My name is Gary Rhudy. I began my adventure in drag racing at the young age of 13, when I was introduced to it through another family in my neighborhood. When I was old enough I started making laps on Friday nights at my local track. That grew into a passion for the sport and at 17 I began bracket racing, and never looked back. Now I have competed on some of the biggest stages in sportsman racing and have won many events and series championships. I’ve done quite a bit of heads up racing and held/hold records in the hemi world. I am currently working and tuning with an 8.50 index team competing at the highest level. I have over 20 years of racing experience and now Holley EFI trained. I look forward to working with you and bring my experience to help you further your racing program.
The main goal of this program is to introduce new people to the exciting world of sportsman drag racing, whether it be at a bracket event or just for fun. In addition to bringing new folks to the track I’m looking to provide quality track support for established teams who may be short on help for a particular event.
I also look to provide assistance to performance shops who have high need customers who need track time. I will go to the track with your customer help them setup there car for the track and provide accurate feed back to the tuner or shop to make the remote tuning process more efficient.
